Sleep regulation & stress reduction

£19.99

DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a neuropeptide that promotes slow-wave (delta) sleep and modulates stress hormone responses. It has been studied for its effects on sleep architecture, cortisol regulation, and neuroprotection.

  • Promotes deep delta-wave sleep
  • Reduces cortisol & stress response
  • Neuroprotective properties
  • Modulates LH & somatostatin release

Mechanism of Action

DSIP is a nonapeptide first isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood during slow-wave sleep. It modulates hypothalamic–pituitary signalling and has been shown to influence ACTH, LH, and GH secretion. Research investigates its role in sleep architecture, stress response attenuation, and neuroendocrine regulation.
